Eternity Productions  -  Information for Eternity House

Stage Productions/Evangelisms Tour Events  - 2009

Eternity House – What is it? The Eternity House is a dramatical presentation that takes the audience through a room-by-room play of the lives of two families.  While some choose to accept Christ, the others do not.  Ultimately several are killed in a fatal accident and find themselves at the throne of judgment.  The story portrays the hearts of the parents, and allows the groups to see first hand a picture of heaven and hell.  At the end of the presentation they are given an invitation. Individuals are given the opportunity to accept Christ or to make other decisions.  Afterward they are encouraged to meet with one of the trained counselors that are provided by your church.

Purpose and Statement of Faith - Eternity House Productions’ sole purpose is to share Jesus with others and to see individuals accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.  Our goal is to present a presentation that is based on biblical principles that show the reality of what it means to ask Jesus to come into your heart.  The presentation brings out the following points:

1.    The importance of what it means for Christians to witness and pray for non-Christians.

2.    Various family situations that may occur in individuals lives.

3.    The reality of realizing you are born a sinner and that you must repent, accept Jesus, and allow Him to be Lord of your life.

4.    The reality that some choose to reject Jesus’ call.

5.    The reality that all will one day die, and that choosing to accept or reject Jesus will affect where you will spend Eternity.

6.    The reality of Satan’s power and Hell.

7.    The reality of Heaven.

We believe in John 3:16.  That “God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever should believe in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life.”

We believe in John 14:6.  That Jesus is the only way to heaven:  “I am the way the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

We believe in Matthew 28:19-20.  That even after one has accepted Jesus, that they are to continue to spread God’s love with others as well as continue to obey His commandments.  We want to encourage the various churches involved in the Eternity House to constantly be strengthening their follow up skills with individuals who make decisions at Eternity House events, so that they will continue to grow in the Lord. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

History of Eternity House Productions’ Eternity House Ministries began in October 1999.  It begun as an effort to reach the lost of the community of Conway, and surrounding areas of the state.  Sunny Gap Baptist Church and Wooster First Baptist Church were the only two churches involved in the drama during the 1999 presentation.  Even though the first year the Eternity House was held at a small church outside of Conway, there were almost 500 in attendance with churches and individuals attending from all around the Central Arkansas area.  Approximately 30 decisions were made to either accept Christ or further one’s walk with Him.  Everyone involved felt that true revival had taken place.  Several of the churches that attended also spoke of how the spirit moved in their worship services over the next few weeks as a direct result of having visited the Eternity House.  This effort could not have been made possible without the awesome blessing of God that was bestowed upon it.

After seeing how God had blessed the 1999 production, leaders in the ministry felt that it was God’s will to continue the production.  In August of 2000, they began to search for a building location and God opened the door for the old Ford-New Holland building located at 812 Merriman Drive in Conway.  Friendship Baptist Church and Pickles Gap Baptist Church were both asked to join the effort.  During the 2000 presentation God blessed the event once again by allowing the ministry to see approximately 1500 people attend the event, with over 60 individuals saved and over 150 other decisions for the Lord.   The response was overwhelming.  A true revival had taken place.

In August of 2001, God had re-opened the door to have the same location as the previous year (812 Merriman Drive in Conway).  This was absolutely awesome because all the walls and staging could remain the same without needing a lot of extra funding to get ready for production.  The 2001 season brought about God’s blessing once again with well over 2200 people in attendance, over 99 decisions for Christ, 15 surrendering to the ministry, and over 100 individuals recommitting their walk with the Lord.  Each year the script has been re-written to have different characters and a new story line, but the message is always the same.  Our goal is for Christians to leave the Eternity House with a new desire to share Jesus with others and for people who do not know Him to ask, “Where will I spend Eternity?”

In 2002, we were blessed to have access to the old National Home Center building next to Office Depot in the Conway Towne Center in Conway, Arkansas.  We were allowed to use this building rent-free.  Over 3000 people attended the event.  There were 139 individuals who accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, 77 individuals recommitted their walk with the Lord and 27 other decisions were made.  Many other churches and individuals became involved in the ministry in 2002.  It now takes over 150 volunteers and actors to put on the production each year, with over ten churches in the Central Arkansas area in participation.

The Eternity House was held at The Conway Towne Center again in 2004 and 2005.  We saw over 2000 people walk through the event each year with over 100 individuals accepting Christ each year, as well as worked with “Feed the Children” organization in 2004 to feed over 500 people in the Conway, Arkansas area.  In 2006, we moved to 3941 Dave Ward Drive in Conway, Arkansas and saw another 136 people accept Christ, and participated in donating hundreds of cans of food to the needy in Conway, AR.

Since, 1999 God has blessed this ministry with over 10,000 people to walk-through the Eternity House event, and over 500 individuals accepting Christ.  Not only have we had the opportunity to see lives changed through our walk-through drama production, but we have also been blessed to share the message through stage productions.  This is another unique way to share the gospel, while ministering in a local church.  We have seen many accept Christ in this sanctuary/stage production setting as well.

Eternity House Productions offers quality family friendly drama productions (walk-through dramas, stage productions, weekend discipleship events, and dinner theaters) that share a message of hope and Jesus Christ.  If you should wish to support this ministry, please email us at info@eternityhouse.org.

You’re invited!

We would like to invite you to take an opportunity to get involved in sharing the gospel message with your community through this awesome presentation.  This can be an encouraging way for your church to get involved in seeing the lives of many in your community come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, as well as be an opportunity to learn to obtain evangelism training.

What the Organization/Church’s Role Will Be The role of the church will be to provide a location to put on the Eternity House Production.  Eternity House will be performed live on stage for the church/organization.  The main focus for the church/organization should be to use this as an opportunity to minister to the lost in your community and to reach people within your church/community that need to strengthen their own walk with the Lord.  It has been our experience that many Christians who see the presentation leave with the feeling of how important it is for them to witness to the lost.  Therefore we would also focus on evangelism training throughout the weekend.  We would hope that by allowing Eternity House Ministries to perform in your church that it will spark a true revival within the congregation/attendees.  Some of the various ways that you will be asked to help:

1.    You will be given a promotional flyer that will need to be copied and distributed throughout your church/organization and within your community to encourage people to come to this event.

2.    You will need to encourage your congregation/attendees to invite lost friends and family members to the event.

3.    You will need to pray for the event, and encourage others leaders within your organization/church body to pray.  A time of prayer with our Eternity House Project Directors, Counseling Coordinator, and other Task Force Members will be scheduled with the pastor, youth pastor, music minister, deacons, and other key leaders within your organization/church.  This is the key to the blessing of God upon the event.

4.    Childcare for children ages 6 and under will need to be provided.  For those children who are ages 4-6, a whole new ministry opportunity is available by leading them in a short children’s worship service during the presentation.  The events that take place during the drama presentation may be to complex for children of such young ages to understand.

5.    An area should be provided after the presentation for Eternity House Productions to set up tables for promotional items and t-shirts.

6.    A time will be scheduled for the pastor to meet with the Eternity House Counseling Coordinators to discuss how he would like to handle the invitation time.  An invitation will be given at each performance directly following the last scene of the presentation (heaven).  There should be no applause.  We will go directly into the invitation time.  We would prefer that the pastor lead this time of invitation, however we have several ministers on our staff who are also available to lead the invitation if need be.  We have counseling materials that will be provided, as well as individuals who will be available to counsel if needed.  However we would suggest that several of your organization/church leaders and mature Christians be asked to help in this area (appointed by the pastor).  People from your church may feel more comfortable counseling with people that they know.  This is the most important time of the whole service.  It is our hope that many will come to know the Lord during this special time.

7.    OPTIONAL – We would leave it up to the discretion of the individual organization/church to decide whether or not a love offering would be taken up at the end of the service.  If a love offering would be taken, we would like to ask that it is lead by the youth pastor or pastor of the organization/church.  Any gift that is given would be greatly appreciated, however it is not required.

8.    A time should be set to meet with the Eternity House Set and Lighting/Sound Coordinators to go over sets and lighting/sound situations for each location.  Eternity House Productions will also need to be given access to the church sanctuary or production area prior to the performance in order to set up and practice for the performance.

9.    FOOD/CONCESSIONS/SNACKS – We recommend serving some kind of refreshments at each event.  This is always a crowd pleaser and helps to draw people in.  This is a great way to fellowship with others, and build relationships that will later make the decision to accept Christ in a comfortable setting easier.  MEALS REQUESTED:  We do request that the church/organization provide simple meals for the Eternity House production volunteers over the course of the event.  This schedule of meals/snacks will be discussed in our meeting with the Project Directors and Organization/Church leaders.

The order of the events throughout the weekend would be as follows:

·         Friday Night – Rally the troops, inviting your own church and other surrounding groups that you would like to involve in the event.  The gospel would be presented through the presentation.

·         Saturday Morning – Evangelism Training program would be offered to leaders in your groups and Backyard Bible Clubs would be offered for Childcare.

·         Saturday afternoon – Canvassing the neighborhood.  We would devise a plan to go out into your community and invite the lost and other church prospect to the production on Saturday night.

·         Saturday evening – Eternity House Production would be shown for a second time.  (there would possibly be a third performance on Sat night, depending on how reservations are going)

·         Sunday evening – (If you want a third/fourth performance) Eternity House Production would be shown for the third/fourth time.

During the program:

·         Praise and Worship

·         Drama Presentation of Eternity House

·         Invitation – Preferably led by the pastor.

·         OPTIONAL – left up to the individual church - Love Offering

·         Prayer - Pastor

Eternity House Testimonials

“The issues illustrated were the most basic to mankind—those of life and death and the alternatives of heaven for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as personal savior, and hell for those who, by choice, elect not to accept His gift of salvation.  The scenes concerning these choices were presented with a graphic reality that illustrated eternal consequences of our personal choice to either accept or reject Jesus Christ.”

Beverly Strain, New Port Richey, Florida

“This was a very good program.  It will make you stop and think about the direction your life is going and the choice is yours only.”

Bruce Ball, Greenbrier, Arkansas

“I think it was great—how you portrayed the crucifixion, heaven and hell.  I hope that it touches the lives of those that don't know Him.”  Jordan McGuire, Greenbrier, Arkansas

“You all so touched my heart.  Thank you for allowing Jesus to work through you!”

JoNell Henson, Beebe, Arkansas

“It was great and I would like to make changes in my own life.”

                        Jon David Williford, Conway, Arkansas
